On November 23, the first event of the First World Forestry Industry Conference – the 2023 Guangxi Forestry and High end Green Home Industry Development Matchmaking Conference was held in Nanning. The reporter learned from the meeting that Guangxi’s forestry and high-end green home industry have a strong development momentum, setting multiple national records. The area of artificial forests, wood production, and artificial board production in the entire region have remained the first in the country. In 2022, the output value of the wood processing industry exceeded 320 billion yuan, making it the fourth industrial cluster in the region to exceed 200 billion yuan.
Guangxi is an important forest resource enrichment area, forest ecological advantage area, and forestry industry concentration area in China. In recent years, the forestry department in our district has introduced, cultivated, and strengthened a group of industry leaders, listed enterprises, and well-known brands, promoting the intelligent, customized, and clustered development of furniture and home decoration. Guangxi also has the most complete basic industrial chain, with over 2700 large-scale wood processing enterprises and over 1000 supporting enterprises such as glue and hardware in the region.
