Technical parameters and application knowledge of tungsten steel woodworking router
Guide: Carbide woodworking router, referred to as router, is mainly used in the production of wooden furniture, some patterns that cannot be produced by large machines and a kind of handle cutter used in small batch production.
In the process of tool processing, the router tool rotates at a high speed, and the machined part does not rotate. It conducts cutting movement on its surface to achieve the purpose of tool processing and cutting. Welded carbide router has been welcomed by the market for many years, and its market share ranks first among woodworking tools. Its processing technology has become mature, and a relatively complete set of processing standards has been formed. Characteristics of the router Carbide router should have strong hardness, excellent wear resistance, sufficient strength, necessary toughness and certain processability (such as welding, heat treatment, cutting and grinding performance). At the same time, the cutting tool also needs to ensure that the cutting edge is sharp enough to ensure smooth cutting and excellent machining surface. The machines applicable to the router are mostly used for floor engraving (the handle is downward and rotates counterclockwise), hanging router (the handle is upward and rotates clockwise), portable engraving machine and trimming machine, electric wood milling machine, CNC machining center and engraving machine. The scope of application of the router is commonly used for straight cutting of solid wood and various artificial materials, milling, slotting and profiling milling of the workpiece junction surface. Woodworking router cutter shank diameter The router cutter whose cutting diameter is equal to or less than 1/4 inch shall use a 1/4 inch diameter handle, and the router cutter whose diameter is 1/4 ~ 1/2 inch shall have a 1/2 inch diameter handle. In addition, there are 6mm and 12mm metric handles. If the router chuck allows, the tool handle with 3/4 inch diameter shall be used for large diameter tools. Most CNC router machines allow the use of large diameter tool handles, which can make the machine work more safely. All cutting tools should have an accurate tool handle, and any tool handle without grinding can not match the chuck well. If possible, the diameter of the tool shank should be equal to or greater than the diameter of the cutting tool. The classification of router cutters can be divided into the following categories according to their processing patterns and functions: (1) carbide woodworking straight drilling cutting tools (2) carbide trimming profiling woodworking milling tools (3) carbide carving woodworking milling tools (4) carbide lace forming woodworking milling tools (5) carbide handrail line woodworking milling tools (6) carbide side grooving and inlaying woodworking milling tools (7) carbide tenoning woodworking milling tools (8) Carbide door panel processing woodworking milling cutter (9) Carbide tenon and mortise woodworking milling cutter (10) Edge integral alloy woodworking milling cutter Inspection points of carbide woodworking milling cutter (1) Surface roughness: handle Ra1.6 μ m; Front edge Ra0.8 μ m; Backward angle of S curve blade Rz3.2 μ m; The geometric dimension accuracy is qualified; (2) The cutting edge of the router should be sharp. The blade surface should not have defects such as black skin, cracks, chipping and grinding burns. The router surface should not have scratches, rust, etc; (3) Form and position tolerance: the radial circular runout tolerance of the edge curve to the shaft axis is 0.02 mm; The consistency tolerance of the edge curve is 0.1mm (check any identical part of the edge curve, and the value in thousandths is within 0.1). (4) The cutter blade material is made of K30 conforming to GB 2075 or other cemented carbide materials with performance not lower than that specified in GB 2075, and the cutter body is made of 45 steel conforming to GB 699 or other materials with performance not lower than that specified in GB 699, and its handle hardness is 30-35HRC. (5) The weld shear strength of the cutter blade shall not be less than 120MPa. Precautions for the use of woodworking cutter: (1) Select the appropriate cemented carbide woodworking cutter according to different processing materials. Normally, the cutter rotates clockwise; (2) The high-precision jacket must be selected. If it cannot meet the configuration requirements due to wear or other conditions, it must be replaced immediately. (3) When the cemented carbide woodworking cutter is clamped, attention shall be paid to avoiding slag inclusion and the clamping depth shall meet the requirements. For example, the clamping depth of 1/2 handle (12.7mm) shall reach 24mm to ensure its proper bearing capacity. Generally, the depth of the clamping handle shall be more than 4/5 of the tool handle length. (4) The matching speed and pushing speed shall be selected according to the size of the carbide woodworking router, and the constant speed shall be maintained, so as not to stop in the cutting process. (5) The carbide woodworking and milling cutter shall be replaced in time after passivation. (6) The user shall pay attention to safety protection during the operation of carbide woodworking cutter.
