Russian birch plywood and LVL sawn logs were once again found to be exported in violation of the “sanctions”.
According to the import data of Vietnam Customs, about 40000 cubic meters of birch wood is transported from Russia and China to Vietnam every month, and some furniture and plywood exported to the United States are made of Russian birch wood. Under the background of “trade restrictions”, the raw materials of these products are first transported from Russia to China, and then processed by China and exported to Vietnam. Finally, their raw materials enter the United States market with the label of “Chinese products”.
