Quality standards for domestic production of galvanized iron wire
Circular cross-section low-carbon steel wire for general binding, nail making, weaving, and construction purposes. Currently, the standard for domestic manufacturers is “General Purpose Low Carbon Steel Wire” YB/T 5294-2009 (YB – Black Metallurgy Industry Standard of the People’s Republic of China); This standard was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on December 4, 2009 and implemented on June 1, 2010. And has replaced the GB/T343-94 standard;
YB/T 5294-2009 standard is classified according to the delivery status and purpose of steel wires.
- According to the delivery status of low-carbon steel wire, it is divided into three categories and codes as follows:
a) Cold drawn steel wire WCD
b) Annealed steel wire TA
c) Galvanized steel wire SZ
- It is divided into three categories according to its purpose: ordinary low-carbon steel wire/nail making low-carbon steel wire/building low-carbon steel wire.
