Quality inspection report in October 2022: the static bending strength of MDF products is unqualified
Entrusted by the customer, our quality engineer went to Suqian Shuyang MDF Factory last week to supervise and spot check the customer’s purchase orders. A total of two batches of products produced by the enterprise were spot checked, and one batch of products did not meet the requirements of relevant standards.
In this spot check, according to the quality requirements provided by the customer, the quality inspection agreement we reached with the customer, and the requirements of GB/T 11718-2009 Medium Density Fiberboard, GB 18580-2001 Indoor Decoration Materials – Formaldehyde Emission Limits in Wood based Panels and Their Products, the surface bonding strength, water absorption thickness expansion rate, formaldehyde emission, internal bonding strength Five items such as static bending strength were inspected. The spot check found that one batch of products in the factory did not meet the requirements of relevant standards, and the unqualified item was static bending strength.
We have sent the detailed quality inspection report to the customer in time for their reference to discuss the subsequent handling with the supplier.
