Furniture quality inspection and evaluation standards
Quality inspection and evaluation of wooden furniture
According to QB/T1951.1-94 “Quality Inspection and Quality Evaluation of Wooden Furniture”, if there are no Class A unqualified items in the inspection results of a single piece of furniture, and other unqualified items: if there are no more than 2 Class B unqualified items, or if there are no more than 1 Class B unqualified item, and no more than 2 Class C unqualified items, or if there are no more than 4 Class C unqualified items, the model of product is evaluated as qualified, otherwise it is considered unqualified
And it is also stipulated that “each product in the complete set of products shall be evaluated according to the above regulations. When each product is qualified, the complete set of products of that model shall be evaluated as qualified, otherwise it shall be deemed as unqualified”. According to the standard, wooden furniture can only be divided into qualified and unqualified products, and there is no requirement for grade products. The so-called quality grade standards for wooden furniture, such as “first-class, authentic, superior, and special”, are all baseless.
