Production, processing, procurement, supplier development, quality control and inspection of PET door panels and UV door panels
Guide: The mineral water bottle we drink in our daily life is made of PET material. The PET plate is mainly a layer of PET film pressed on the printed paper on the surface of the plate, because the PET film is transparent and colorless. Strictly speaking, there is no difference between PET door panel and UV door panel, mainly because the decorative materials on the surface of the panel are different.
PET sheet is a popular decorative material in the market in recent years. The scientific name of PET is polyethylene terephthalate (PET). PET film has high flatness, strong toughness, good stiffness, stable size, and is suitable for the surface decoration of sheet.
The mineral water bottle we drink in our daily life is made of PET material. The PET plate is mainly a layer of PET film pressed on the printed paper on the surface of the plate, because the PET film is transparent and colorless. Therefore, the design and color of PET sheet mainly depends on the color of decorative paper on the surface of the sheet. The surface hardness of PET film can generally reach 2H, the scratch resistance is good, and the PET film has a certain toughness, so it is not easy to collapse edges during the blanking and cutting process. Of course, if the pressure between the PET film and the substrate is uneven or the adhesive quality is poor, there will be adhesion in the later stage, and the surface of the plate will bulge.
PET plate UV plate is a decorative material that is used for UV curing after UV roller coating on the surface of the plate. In fact, under the current environmental protection situation, UV paint, as an environmental protection material, has developed very fast in recent years, with high solid content, low volatile matter, high production efficiency and stable quality. It is a mature industrial product in the current decoration market! At present, the surface hardness of UV plate is generally between 2H and 3H, and the hardness of UV plate can also reach 4H to 5H, but it is not suitable for customized door panels in the whole house. Because the hardness is too high, edge collapse will occur during blanking.
Intuitively speaking, first of all, the base materials for PET and UV panels are mainly density boards. Of course, the base materials can also be multilayer boards and chipboards. In contrast, the surface flatness of density boards is higher than that of solid wood multilayer boards and chipboards. Therefore, density boards are commonly used as the base materials for PET and UV panels. From the perspective of environmental protection, the density boards are mostly E1 grade materials, and there are few E0 grade materials on the market. Therefore, the environmental protection of using density board as the base material is inferior to that of solid wood multilayer board and particle board.
In terms of flatness, the flatness of PET sheet is better than that of UV sheet. The main reason is that the flatness of UV sheet mainly depends on the flatness of the sheet. If the flatness of the substrate selected for the UV board is not high, the surface will collapse in the later period. From the side, the UV board will appear orange peel. This is mainly aimed at high gloss UV products, and matt products do not have high requirements on the flatness of the substrate.
In terms of price, the base color of PET sheet and UV sheet is decorative paper, and the price of PET sheet is dozens of yuan more than that of UV sheet. Of course, if the UV sheet is pasted with wood veneer, the price of the sheet also depends on the price of the wood veneer itself. In terms of yellowing resistance, PET door panels and UV door panels have good yellowing resistance indicators.
In general, PET door panels and UV door panels have rich patterns and colors, high flatness, and high gloss (bright) and matt (skin feeling) in the form of expression, which are particularly suitable for the current mainstream products of the whole house customized application of the minimalist light luxury style.
