On August 4th, the Information Office of the Linyi Municipal People’s Government held a press conference to report on the effectiveness of the city’s industrial product inspection and testing work.
The reporter learned from the scene that the Linyi Inspection and Testing Center, relying on inspection and testing technology and talent advantages, fully utilizes the basic service functions of inspection and testing, and empowers wood industry enterprises to move towards the “high-end, green, and intelligent” direction with standard guidance, scientific research innovation, and inspection and testing.
Focusing on the effectiveness of basic inspection and testing services, continuously improving the level of inspection and testing. In response to the actual situation of outdated testing equipment for wood-based panels and severe shortage of formaldehyde climate boxes, more than 3 million yuan has been invested to purchase more than 20 sets of testing equipment, obtaining 81 products with qualification recognition from inspection and testing institutions and laboratory recognized testing capabilities, and 1180 project (parameter) items, covering all testing projects in the field of wood-based panels.
Serve government regulation and industrial development, and play a good role in technical support. To serve government regulation, we have successfully completed the supervision and random inspection tasks assigned by regulatory authorities every year, providing a reliable basis for government regulation and administrative law enforcement departments. In the development of the service industry, we actively provide entrusted testing services for wood industry enterprises, provide high-quality services for the upstream and downstream full chain industries of artificial board enterprises, and provide technical support for expanding brand effects.
Relying on existing testing advantages, continuously strive for technical support from superior departments. Actively liaise with the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Wood-based Panels, invite industry experts to exchange and discuss, conduct technical cooperation and research projects with national platforms, conduct data validation for the implementation and release of national, industry, and group standards for wood products, and provide strong data support for the standardization of the wood industry.
