Reasons for delamination of plywood
Improper operation during hot pressing of plywood can easily cause some defects, which can have adverse effects on the quality of the plywood, such as low bonding strength or delamination.
There are generally three reasons for the detachment of plywood:
1) The quality of the glue is poor, and the glue is mixed too thinly;
2) Excessive or insufficient application of glue, uneven application of glue, can also lead to delamination of plywood;
3) The aging time is too long, the glue has dried or the aging time is too short;
4) Insufficient thermal pressure and short hot pressing time can also cause delamination of the plywood;
6) Improper temperature control, whether the temperature is too low or too high, can lead to quality issues;
7) The quality of the veneer is poor, and the burrs and grooves are too deep;
8) The moisture content of the veneer is too high and the drying is not thorough.
