What details should we pay attention to when Laminating the MDF?
1. Moderate pressure: generally 2~3MPa, too low will affect the bonding strength between the substrate and impregnated paper, and too high will damage the board.
2. Hot pressing time: It depends on the curing speed and hot pressing temperature of the impregnated resin, generally 40~50s. If the time is too long, the resin will be over cured and lose its due elasticity, which will lead to cracks and warps in the subsequent processing. If the time is too short, the resin will not be cured enough, which will easily lead to sticking, and affect the performance of the product surface and the durability of the product.
3. Processing base material: the board surface is flat, sanded evenly, and the moisture content is controlled at 6%~10%. The high moisture content leads to blistering, delamination and other phenomena in the veneer process. The low moisture content leads to the poor wetting of the surface during hot pressing, resulting in the delamination of the board, and the density is controlled at 680~880.
4. Corresponding process: when hot pasting thin plates, if the plates are produced by domestic production lines, only single pasting can be carried out, and double pasting cannot be carried out, otherwise the plates are prone to burst. If the plates are produced by imported production lines, double pasting can be carried out.
