Recently, the General Administration of Customs released data showing that in the first two months of this year, China’s furniture and parts exports amounted to 64.08 billion yuan, compared to 71.31 billion yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 10.1%.
The export value of other household building materials also declined to varying degrees. In January to February this year, the export value of ceramic products was 26.82 billion yuan, compared to 28.86 billion yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 7.1%; The export value of lamps, lighting devices and their components was 41.91 billion yuan, compared to 46.45 billion yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 9.8%.
