In recent times, we have been entrusted by many importer clients to inspect ENGINEERED HARDWOOD FLOORING produced by many factories for export to Europe, the United States, and Canada. The overall quality change is that the thickness of TOP WEAR LAYER (FANCY WOOD) has become thinner. However, according to the agreement between the factories and the importers customers, only negative tolerances are generally retained instead of positive tolerances, which means that the thickness of the TOP WEAR produced by the factories does not meet the customer’s quality requirements.
After multiple communications, the explanation given by most factories is that their TOP WEAR FANCY VENEERS suppliers have reduced the thickness of FANCY VENEER due to price competition.
So, we also reported the quality “defects” we discovered to our customers.
