Horizontal impregnation and drying production line for melamine impregnated paper
With our requirements for daily life and environmental protection, melamine impregnated paper, due to its excellent aesthetic effect, can improve the physical properties of the board after hot pressing and bonding. The subsequent maintenance and upkeep are also very simple, and its position in the surface decoration of the board is becoming increasingly important.
So what is its production process?
At present, there are two typical impregnation processes: primary impregnation drying process and secondary impregnation drying process. One of the impregnation methods has a relatively simple structure and high production efficiency. The production line of secondary impregnation method adds a coating mechanism and a dryer combination on the basis of primary impregnation, which can use two types of adhesives. The first back coating and impregnation can use low-cost and relatively poor performance urea formaldehyde resin. After drying, melamine resin can be coated again, which not only saves costs but also ensures the surface quality of the impregnation paper, and has a large amount of adhesive. Therefore, more secondary impregnation methods are used.
Main section
Impregnation: This section is the core part of the production process of impregnated adhesive paper. Usually, modulated urea formaldehyde and melamine resins are used separately or in a mixture. Phenolic resin may also be used for impregnating kraft paper, requiring the resin to fully penetrate the interior of the paper and accurately control the amount of adhesive immersed. The secondary production section and the mixing process affect the production process in the later stage and the quality of the impregnated paper product.
Drying: Currently, the commonly used method is a hot air drying oven, which aims to remove some moisture from the adhesive film paper. The degree of dryness has a significant impact on the volatile content of the product, as well as on the hot pressing time and other technical parameters of the later pressing production process.
Glue coating: In the secondary impregnation drying process, due to the use of UF resin or a mixture of UF and MF resin for impregnation, and the poor physical and chemical corrosion resistance of UF resin, it is necessary to use MF resin for the second coating after passing through the first dryer. This process causes the resin to adhere to the surface and bottom layers of the adhesive paper to meet the standard requirements and final characteristics of product quality. It determines the quality and other characteristics of the product.
