Due to the EU’s EUDR policy on plywood, many purchase orders from FILM FACED PLYWOOD factories are produced by working overtime day and night, and this two shift production phenomenon has disappeared for many years.
We have observed that several professional factories producing 1250X2500MM and 1525X3050MM FILM FACED PLYWOOD have lowered the level of raw materials, accelerated production progress, and reduced some unnecessary but very important production processes in order to meet the production schedule. In the plywood types we have seen, there have been some fatal processing defects such as delamination and cracking, carbonization and peeling, as well as the phenomenon of plywood flat rebound caused by insufficient curing time of the plywood substrate.
At the same time, some factories with their own quality inspectors have also overlooked the importance of quality inspection at this stage. These workers who perform daily quality inspection work are assigned to packaging instead of quality inspection.
