Pressure-Treated Plywood
pressure-treated plywood for use in areas where plywood will be exposed to direct weather or moisture. Typical applications include sidewall sheathing and built-up roof decks.
Our pressure-treated plywood is all sheathing-grade (CCX), either Douglas fir or CSP, conforming to CSA plywood standards 0121 and 0151, respectively. This plywood is then pressure-treated with Sienna Brown Micro-Pro MCA preservative. MCA (micronized copper azole) is the latest generation of wood preservative and utilizes the biocidal and fungicidal properties of copper to provide long-lasting protection. This preservative is water-borne and environmentally-friendly as well, utilizing no heavy metal compounds enabling the end-user to possibly qualify for LEED credits.
