Description
A plywood foliated with a phenol film is wood-based board of improved properties (resistance to water, sanding through) composed of glued plies of wood (outer and middle veneers), whereat the directions of fibre of adjacent plies are staggered by 90°. There are various types of plywood by wood species:
- Birch – birch plywood 100%
- Beech – beech plywood 100%
- Birch, alder, beech – deciduous plywood
- Birch, alder, beech, pine – combi deciduous plywood
Technical plywood is produced on the basis of phenol-formaldehyde resin as water-resistant, for use in exterior conditions (according to PN-EN 636), meeting the requirements of 3 gluing class quality according to PN-EN 314-2.
