Water DAMAGE on Kitchen Cabinets? (Plywood / MDF Ultra / MDF / Particleboard) We decide to run a water resistance test on this 4 materials used on cabinet manufacturing. (Plywood / MDF Ultra / MDF / Particleboard) We left all samples into a 5mm water plate, simulating a leak under the sink for example. After 2 hours we can see the results and how each material behaved. The materials used, had no finish on the edges. We can assume that when a finish is applied to the edges, all materials, will last longer.
