We are calling upon all importers of Brazilian softwood plywood to join forces with the PTIA in response to the recent anti-dumping complaint filed by UPM, Paged, Thebault, and Wotan Forest.

๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ง๐๐ is a coalition of more than 18 EU companies that have been at the forefront of the ongoing AD717 case on hardwood plywood imports from China. We have submitted substantial counterarguments regarding the product scope, the complaint itself, the sampling and procedural flaws. We have also successfully rallied key EU associations and user to rebut questionable product interchangeability claims and voice against over protectionism.
This new AD729 case highlights the ambition of certain EU plywood producers to continue using anti-dumping to eliminate competition and free trade.
