The static bending strength of 2 batches of MDF products is unqualified
In November 2022, a total of 40 batches of products produced by 10 enterprises were spot checked, and one batch of products from one enterprise did not meet the requirements of relevant standards.
According to the requirements of GB/T 11718-2009 Medium Density Fiberboard and GB 18580-2001 Indoor Decorative and Decorative Materials – Limits of Formaldehyde Emission from Wood based Panels and Their Products and other standards, the spot check conducted five items of MDF products, including surface bonding strength, water absorption thickness expansion rate, formaldehyde emission, internal bonding strength and static bending strength. The spot check found that one batch of products did not meet the requirements of relevant standards, and the unqualified item was static bending strength.
